My Grandmother gave me my first camera on my 11th birthday. I ran straight to the beach and took a photo of the sunset. I still have that photo and that camera saved til this day.
As the oldest of five kids and now with a family of my own, I fell in love with capturing authentic moments between my family. I could spend hours looking at old photos and trying to remember what that moment felt like. My mother keeps boxes and boxes of prints in old hat boxes, a tradition I carry on today. My sisters and I go through them every so often, reigniting those memories in our minds. Turning moments in time into tangible keepsakes is something I’ve enjoyed as long as I can remember.
I'm bubbly, joyful, and can talk to anyone. I get along with absolutely everybody and am incredibly good at turning an awkard moment into a painless one. I pride myself on rolling with the punches and hurdles of life which just so happens to work magnificent for wedding days.
I grew up on Cape Cod where my mother has owned a wedding cake business for over 28 years. She started her business after making my first birthday cake and decided she would quit her job, stay home with me, and make cakes to support us. I started stirring mix and making sugar flowers as a young girl, and quickly moved to meeting with brides and grooms and helping plan their big day all before I graduated high school.
Prior to landing on wedding photography I owned a Bridal makeup company for 9 years. I loved those years but I hated missing the best parts of the day and leaving right when the excitement was about to start.

"We knew Jocelyn was an amazing photographer from our engagement session, but what we found on our wedding day is that she is an equally amazing person."
A wedding is a once in a lifetime event. There’s no second chance for me to capture your day, something that never leaves my mind.
I feel it’s incredibly important for me to document the day as things naturally unfold, this isn’t a production, no one is acting. I will move, clean off, wipe down, and change anything in order to make sure things are captured as beautifully as possible, but authenticity is priority to me. Real memories, not staged moments.
I've been a part of the wedding industry in some capacity for my entire life. I love the chaos, the joy, the tears, and the uniqueness each couple brings colliding their two worlds together. No matter how many weddings I am part of, the honor of capturing you day is a feeling beyond compare.
